Here are Critical Skin Care Sun Protection Tips:

Dress Smart - clothing made from materials with tighter weaves and darker colors provide more sun protection.

Head Gear - wear sunglasses to protect eyes as well as eliminate squinting that can lead to fine lines also called crow’s feet near eyes.  And select a hat with a wide brim for more protection against age spots and lesions.

 

Get Glowing Tan - Forego sunbathing, including tanning beds and use a sunless tanner to create truly healthy glowing tan skin.

Get in the Habit – make it a daily habit to wear sunscreen even on cloudy days. Apply a sunscreen of SPF 15 or greater approximately 20 minutes before venturing out.  Remember, even water-resistant sunscreens must be reapplied every couple of hours or so.
